Brian Hunt, Owner - Production Lead

With over 20 years of experience in the production industry, Brian Hunt is a sought-after cinematographer and filmmaker known for his strong visual eye and effective storytelling.

A post-graduate diploma in Post Production earned in 2002 laid the foundation for his deep technical knowledge across the full production pipeline. Brian recently served as Director of Photography on a Hot Docs award-winning documentary, and his work has been seen internationally on CBC, Netflix, ESPN, and TSN.

Davey Birrell, Post Production Supervisor

As his headshot implies, Davey is a man of many talents and wears multiple hats in his role as Post Production Supervisor at H Visual. Educated at Fanshawe College in their Film and Video program, Davey pursued all aspects of post production early on in his career. For the past 14 years, he has perfected his craft of editing, colour correction and sound design. Some might say his attention to detail and commitment to high quality video production borders on obsessive compulsive. Not one to rest until the job is done, Davey can most often be found in the H Visual edit suite with a bowl of cereal nearby.

Claire Firstbrook - Editor

Locally born and raised, Thomas lives for the lifestyle Collingwood provides. When he’s not assisting in studio or on set, Thomas can be found with a board underfoot - snow or skate. A dedicated Production Assistant at H Visual for 2 years (?), he has quickly earned his stripes and jack-of-all-trades subtitle. A keen interest in all aspects of media and video production makes him a great study and invaluable part of the team.

In his spare time, Thomas can be found devouring burritos.
